A Night of Joy – Iftar with dar al aytam

On March 21, 2025, what started as a plan to host 40 orphans for a joyful Iftar turned into something even more meaningful. Thanks to your donations—and personal contributions from our team—we were able to welcome 60 children from Dar El Aytam for an evening of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The Iftar was held at HipHop Trampoline Park, where the children had the freedom to jump, play, laugh, and simply be kids. Organized by a team of 13 dedicated volunteers under the Id Bi Id (Hand in Hand) initiative, the event became even more symbolic as it took place on Mother’s Day—a day that, for many of these children, can carry a deep emotional weight.

Ramadan is a time for togetherness, love, and compassion. For children who’ve lost one or both parents, these moments are especially sensitive. Holding this Iftar on Mother’s Day allowed us to not only celebrate the spirit of giving during Ramadan but also surround these children with warmth, kindness, and a reminder that they are never alone.

It wasn’t just about food or play—it was about creating a moment where every child felt cherished, supported, and emotionally held on a day that could have otherwise passed in silence.

With your help, and with the extra efforts of our team, we were able to make this evening a memory of joy instead of absence.
